Chapel House is surrounded by the undulating beauty of North Warwickshire and Leicestershire, several golf courses, a zoo, castles, cathedrals, historic houses and stately homes, pleasant and invigorating walks, and is only 20 mins from the NEC. Atherstone is an ancient market town situated on the roman Watling Street at the eastern edge of the Warwickshire Arden, between Tamworth and Nuneaton . Set against the wooded hills of the Merevale Estate, the picturesque town centre dates from mediaeval times and is unspoiled by modern development. Until the late 20th century, Atherstone's traditional industries were mining and felt hatmaking. Today, logistics is the major employer. The visitor will find a wealth of small friendly shops and the twice-weekly market takes place in the market square on Tuesdays and Fridays.
